Frequently Asked Questions

  • How often should I have my electrical system inspected?

It's advisable to have your electrical system inspected every 5 to 10 years, or sooner if you experience any signs of trouble, such as frequent circuit breaker trips or old wiring. Regular inspections help identify potential hazards and ensure your system operates efficiently.

  • What are the signs that I need to upgrade my electrical panel?

Signs that you may need to upgrade your electrical panel include frequently tripped breakers, the inability to power multiple devices simultaneously, or outdated fuses. An upgrade can enhance safety, accommodate modern electrical demands, and improve system performance.

  • What should I do if my lights flicker or dim unexpectedly?

Flickering or dimming lights can be caused by various issues, such as overloaded circuits, loose wiring, or faulty fixtures. We recommend you turn off the affected circuit and contact a licensed electrician to evaluate the problem and ensure your electrical system is safe.

  • Can I do my own electrical repairs?

While some minor tasks may seem manageable, it's best to leave electrical repairs to licensed professionals to ensure safety and compliance with local codes. Attempting DIY electrical work can pose serious safety risks and may lead to more significant problems down the line.
